Dr. Ataei Far is an esteemed professional with a Ph.D. from the Islamic Azad University's Science and Research Branch, bringing over 27 years of rich experience in the water industry. His journey in this field has not only led to the construction of a strong professional network, including ties with 2000 professional engineers in the water and oil & gas sectors, but also to significant contributions in various capacities.
Dr. Ataei Far has played an instrumental role in technical groups at the National Standards Organization (INSO) since 2002. His expertise was crucial in the revision of ISO 4064 within the ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 30, and he continues to serve as a representative to OIML after being re-elected to the ISO/TC30 CS7/WG9 committee. His participation in international courses, such as programs in Japan and Europe, and notably the UNESCO-IHE course on technical and wastewater innovations in the Netherlands, has immensely broadened his understanding of strategic planning and different facets of water management.
Dr. Ataei Far’s research interests include maintenance strategies, desalination technologies, and micropollutant removal methods. His commitment to sharing knowledge is evident in his active engagement on LinkedIn, where his posts have notably garnered 30,000 impressions in a single week. He has also delivered presentations on best practices for drinking water supply through dual water networks at UN-HABITAT technical meetings in Jakarta and Seoul, and a conference in Muscat.
